  • Elk Grove Creek Trail. This trail spans seven miles and is located near Elk Grove. It’s an out-and-back trail featuring a picturesque river and an excellent workout for people of all fitness levels. Bring your family and your canine pal and enjoy a hike any time of year.
  • Laguna Creek Trail. Another great walking trail, Laguna Creek Trail features two miles of off-street, paved trails for walking, running, biking, and even horseback riding – and at 10 feet wide, there’s room for everyone. You’ll also enjoy the bountiful plant and animal life on this gorgeous trail.
  • Rockin Jump. If there anything as much fun as a trampoline park? If you thought they were only for kids, think again. Go with your kids, take off your shoes, and jump to your heart’s content. With multiple zones for different activities, Rockin Jump is a super fun way to get a worthwhile workout.

Hi! My name is Ashley Lovato. As a young girl, I’ve always wanted to be in good shape and to have a healthy lifestyle. From childhood to motherhood, physical activity has always been an important part of my life. I moved to Elk Grove from San Jose in 2011 and had an opportunity to turn my passion for fitness and helping other into a career. By nature, I am a person drawn to extremes, and I sometimes struggle with finding a happy medium. When I found Kaia FIT in 2012, I was completely intrigued and felt the philosophy was exactly what I needed to achieve balance. Through Kaia FIT, I met one of my closest friend’s and business partner, Jennifer Garrett. Because of our compatibility and passion for fitness, we decided to open Kaia FIT Laguna in 2013. It is because of the friendships at Kaia FIT Laguna that Elk Grove feels like home to me. I love being surrounded by women who are trying to better themselves, who are leading their families by example and choosing to be healthy. I think the non-competitive atmosphere creates a support system that allows each person to be vulnerable, show humility and embrace one another’s strengths. My name is Jennifer Garrett and I am a married mom of two very active boys. I have lived in Elk Grove for 15 years. I have long been passionate about fitness. For 2 ½ years, I was a Personal Trainer at Gold’s Gym. Seeing women transform themselves & succeed is what I value most in my work. In 2011 I found Kaia FIT and never looked back. Kaia’s unique approach to fitness and motivating women was something I had to be a part of. My partnership with Ashley began in 2013 because of our shared fitness philosophy and complimentary work ethic. Ashley is one of my closest friends and I look forward to seeing her every day! To me, the cornerstone of Kaia FIT Laguna is friendship. We promote a healthy lifestyle through encouragement and challenge…its women building each other up while putting fitness first. My name is Kim Sanchez, I am married (17 years) to my husband Matt. I have two teenagers, Andrew and Madison, both whom are extremely active in baseball and softball. I’ve called Elk Grove home for the last 17 years…. and I AM A KAIA GIRL THROUGH AND THROUGH!! I have always been an athlete, I played competitive softball starting at age 7 and played through college, as well as playing high school volleyball. Through out my years of raising my children I always tried to stay active and workout, I had my gym membership, went to classes here and there, but never completely realizing the potential I had and the things I could change when it came to my fitness. It wasn't until I found Kaia in 2013 that I found the athlete in me again! With its supportive atmosphere and the amazing and challenging workouts Kaia helped me find the best version of myself, physically, nutritionally, and mentally. I am so passionate about Kaia and I am thrilled to take my passion and love for everything Kaia and everything it represents and pass that along to other women. I am KAIA STRONG! I'm Gina Brockway and I first joined Kaia FIT Laguna back in April of 2013. After the first workout I was immediately hooked! I love the fact that it doesn’t matter what age, your fitness level or your athletic background, the workouts are always different, challenging and fun! As a Kaia coach, I find much joy and inspiration from helping my fellow Kaia girls achieve their individual goals no matter how big or small. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching my boys play baseball & football, officiating girls & boys high school/club volleyball, shopping, wine tasting, cooking & entertaining. I am also actively involved at Sun Grove Community Church as the Rays of Light Respite Coordinator (a ministry for families who have kids with special needs). I'm Tiffany Ryan and I first joined Kaia FIT Laguna in January of 2015. I had been running and doing HIIT workouts elsewhere but needed something that would allow me to workout when it best fit my schedule. I love that with Kaia I can workout in the early or mid-morning or in the evenings to keep my body guessing. I also love all the ladies I have met and friendships that have been made in the time I have been at Kaia. I am so excited to help our Kaia girls with their diet and fitness goals! My name is Anna Williamson and I am a married mom to my three daughters and son who all love their sports (wrestling, volleyball, soccer, basketball) as well as a grandmother to my grandson. I am a Sacramento area native and I have always been active and involved in sports and fitness and I love to learn as much as I can about nutrition and health. I have taught preschool for many years and coached soccer for my daughters and my son's teams over the past 10 years. I love making homemade everything from scratch. I was first introduced to Kaia Fit in 2016 through a friend who I had witnessed a huge transformation in her fitness level over the course of a year and I was motivated to try it out. Kaia Fit was the place I had long been searching for to discover fitness, nutrition guidance, motivation, and friendship with women who were all reaching for their personal fitness goals and attaining them together as a supportive community. Kaia Fit is the community to connect with women who build each other up and motivate one another to be their own best version of themselves. Hi, my name is Naima Reddick and I'm a certified fitness professional. For most of my life I've been a competitive athlete and being surrounded by a group of women all striving to be their best was an experience I wanted to be able to share. I love the idea of living your best life and having a tribe to help you build it. In my opinion, fitness is a key component to building that best life. Outside of fitness coaching I play rugby, travel, and hang out with my family. I'm new-ish to the Sacramento area but I'm putting down roots and plan to stay a while. Kaia Tri is a ten-week triathlon training program with workouts three times a week, which is an optional extra during our spring and summer CORE sessions. We swim, bike, and run, with some cross-training classes too. By being able to set a personal pace, our triathlon training program is suited to beginners tackling their first race and intermediate athletes looking to improve their finish time.

Our mock triathlons run several times to familiarize women with the course route. We finish the season with a Triathlon Training Camp which includes paddle boarding and power workouts. The next day is our exhilarating and fun Triathlon race day for all Kaia Tri women to enjoy working out in a beautiful location. Friends are welcome too!

SANDBAG

Kaia Sandbag combines traditional fitness with unconventional training methods. With sandbags, the weight shifts and moves in an unpredictable fashion. This piece of equipment is integrated into our conditioning & strength building workouts to simultaneously develop strength, power, endurance, mobility, and balance – with an additional emphasis on developing overall core strength and stability.

New to sandbag training? No problem! Beginners are always welcome.

TRX SUSPENSION 

TRX® Suspension Training® body-weight exercise simultaneously develops strength, power, endurance, mobility, durability, balance, flexibility, and core stability. Whether you’re younger or older, out of shape or a pro athlete, injured or at the top of your game, TRX Suspension Training meets you where you are and takes you where you want to go. TRX Suspension Training leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to enable hundreds of exercises that can be instantly scaled for any user to reach any fitness or training goal. The easily-scalable nature of TRX Suspension Training makes it a practical solution wherever you are on the fitness continuum.

Need a little extra boost to keep your body guessing? Our TRX/Cardio class is an excellent complement to any Kaia FIT session. TRX workouts, which can be used by anyone at any level, builds true functional strength and improves flexibility, balance and core stability all at once. Mixed with cardio, the classes give every member the perfect balance of challenge and success.

CROSS-TRAINING

Our trademark Kaia Cross-Training™ classes are a unique mix of cardio, functional movement, and both weighted and non-weighted exercises.

Cross-Training benefits:

Each day brings a new workout. We have an elite group of advanced coaches who infuse each workout with their own flair and focus, meaning you’re never going to repeat a workout, avoid burn-out, and fitness plateaus.

Keeping the body guessing is key to sculpting lean muscle mass. We also have a 3-part modification foundation: Balance (non-impact); Strength (mid-impact) and Kaia (high impact). Each exercise has its own progression so that everyone can feel successful.

As a part of our program, we also offer nutritional guidance to help you make healthy food choices and keep your fitness on track.

BARRE

Our barre-based class is a unique combination of postures inspired by ballet, yoga, Pilates and Kaia. Using the barre as a prop to balance, you’ll complete a series of isometric holds combined with high reps of small range movements to elongate and tone your major muscle groups.

In addition to the barre, classes incorporate pilates balls, yoga blocks, and/or resistance bands for increased endurance, challenge and focus. Following each set of holds, you’ll rest and recovery with a short series of stretches and poses to increase flexibility prior to advancing.
Kaia Barre is a low-impact class that perfectly complements our program offerings. Meet us at the barre and try your first class for free!

DANCE 

Our dance fitness class is rooted in traditional dance. We use those foundational moves and offer a class that is easy enough for beginners yet challenging enough for the more seasoned dancer. The simplicity of the routines allows you to keep moving with ease. Although this is a workout, it feels more like a dance party with your girlfriends.

RUNNING 

Improve your speed, skill, endurance, stamina, and strength with our Kaia running program. The program works on developing running skills that can increase speed, endurance, and overall fitness. The program is designed for you to run at your pace and and help you see improvements every step of the way.

The Kaia training is a simple, progressive program designed for women of all ages and all fitness levels. Whether you are a walker, jogger, or runner, you will be able to join this program and move at your own pace. Research has shown that even 20 to 30 minutes of running (two to three times per week) is enough to help you lose or maintain weight and improve many other important health markers, i.e. your cholesterol, blood pressure and insulin response.

Don’t be intimidated by the Kaia Run program name, each class will have walkers, joggers and runners. Keep in mind that the first mile is the hardest mile you will ever run. Once you get off the starting block, things only get easier. All you have to do is be patient and disciplined in your training, and that is where Kaia

POWER YOGA

Kaia Yoga combines mind and body with a power yoga and core-strengthening weekly workout with Pilates-style techniques. We focus on balance, strength, and cardiovascular fitness through stretching, strength training and dynamic movement to improve overall fitness levels.

By creating long, lean muscles, Yoga promotes improved coordination, greater flexibility and a fuller range of motion, with a strong body that’s less prone to injury. Yoga keeps the mind centered and reduces stress through positive thoughts and a sense of mindfulness, which also inspires mental strength and confidence.

Yin Yoga, or restorative yoga, is a quiet contemplative practice. It targets the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues – ligaments, joints, bones, and the deep fascia networks of the body. Poses are held for 1 minute or more and transitions between poses are gentle and slow. This class is an excellent compliment to our other classes, provides dedicated stretching, and is known to reduce stress and anxiety.

6-WEEK BRIK BOOTCAMP

Our BRIK Bootcamp sessions are offered three times a year and are designed to help you reach your health and fitness potential, and you’re welcome to start anytime!
