Are you looking for a hydrating tonic that is good for cleansing as well as hydrating? If your answer is yes then I have the recipe for you. It is easy to make with a blender and delicious. Drink 16 ounces first thing in the morning and as your last drink of the day.
You could also add a pinch of cayenne to each 16 ounce jar (I reused kombucha bottles) if you are suffering from a cold because capsaicin—is a great natural decongestant or activated charcoal which is great for removing toxins from your body- 1/4 tsp per 16 ounces- only use organic food grade activated charcoal.
Ingredients:
Juice of 4 lemons
2 inches of organic ginger
3-4 tbsp raw local honey
Put the above ingredients into the blender and then fill the blender with warm water until it reaches 8 cups. Blend until the ginger is completely blended. Strain through nut milk bag. Pour into 16 ounce bottles or jars. Add a pinch of cayenne or 1/4 tsp of activated charcoal if you like- or leave as is. Refrigerate and consume within 2 days (but it is delicious warm too).
