If you love chow-mein, you will these noodles. Oil-free and delicious.
1 lb whole-wheat spaghetti
1/4 cup low sodium tamari
3 tbsp rice vinegar
2 tsp agave nectar
2 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp red pepper flake
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp Siracha
2 Tbsp tahini
1/4 cup low sodium vegetable broth
6 green onions diced
Cook pasta according to directions. While it is cooking mix all ingredients except green onions. When pasta is done drain. Put the sauce mixture into pot on medium heat, when it is warmed through add green onions. Add pasta back to pot and stir to coat.
Serve with a side of Crispy Tofu, steamed veggies or you could add some shredded cabbage to the pot and let the warmth of the pasta wilt it.
Serves 5.
