Happy Holidays!! Holiday gatherings can be difficult when you are trying to eat a healthy diet. If everyone is coming to your house you can prepare all the healthy dishes and let everyone else bring their favorite holiday foods. This way you have several healthy choices on the table. If you are going to someone else’s house offer to bring a salad and some dips.
At my house my kids eat most everything I prepare and the younger ones eat vegan at home, but they are not 100% plant-based. So when having family meals I have to prepare dishes that I know they will want to eat even though there may be something not so healthy on the table as well.
These are my top picks:
Vegan Mac and Cheese- Kid Approved!
Hot and Sour Soup: Who doesn’t love soup? This one is delicious, can be put into a crockpot to keep warm until serving.
Balsamic Vinaigrette and Buffalo Ranch Dressing: A couple of great options for salads
Vegan Toona: This toona is awesome with crackers.
3 Bean Chili: This is always a hit at my house.
Jalapeno Artichoke Dip: This is a family favorite.
